It was a comfortable experience overall.

The check in was without problems. Despite the fact that we had to travel three hours to get here, we could go to our room without extra charge. Coffee is free all day long in the breakfast area. The staff was friendly and the rooms relatively clean.
When we entered the room, a rather musty smell directly poked into our noses. It smelled like stagnant water. Unfortunately the smell remained throughout the whole stay. When we booked the room we were surprised about the ratings as only the pancake machine was mentioned. Jokingly I said that this was probably the only thing to mention. And indeed, this is how it was. For breakfast, there is daily only omelette, toast or bagels and cornflakes. In the corridors there are ice cube machines from which one can help oneself, but unfortunately there was no bucket in the room.

The TV did not work, the phone we could not dial to the front seat had to use our personal phone to get service

Your staff was amazing, they were polite and friendly. The rooms are a little outdated but still very comfortable and cozy.
Just needs a little updating in the rooms, things feel very used and old.
