The room was clean and cozy. Free breakfast options are available. The location is wonderful and comfortable, being close to a local restaurant and many shops and restaurants.

Comfy beds 🛏️ and a TV with plenty of channels, AC/heating control, and a coffee/tea setup are all in the room.

The location in Algonquin was comfy, near a restaurant, the river, and the airport. Liked the reasonably large room with 2 beds, felt like we were home. Everywhere was fairly clean.

Convenient location - close to everything we needed, just a short walk to the bus stop. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the air conditioning unit wasn't working. 🌬️

The stay here was perfectly pleasant for 3 nights. The location was convenient, really close to many shops and restaurants, the river, and Chicago and easily accessible. Popped in Buffalo Wild Wings for shots before sleep, it was just a short stroll away from the venue. The rooms were spotless with 2 beds, the staff were helpful.

Excellent Customer Service

During our recent stay at a hotel in Algonquin, we encountered a small issue with our reservation. We accidentally booked the wrong dates, but the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to assist us. The front desk agent quickly contacted the hotel directly and was able to change our reservation to the correct dates, even though we were initially told it couldn't be done. Their willingness to accommodate our mistake was truly impressive.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Algonquin for a long weekend to spend time with my grandkids. The spacious and clean room was perfect for our visit, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. We enjoyed a wide variety of TV channels during our downtime. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location provided easy access to nearby shopping and a breakfast place in the parking lot.

The check in was without problems. Despite the fact that we had to travel three hours to get here, we could go to our room without extra charge. Coffee is free all day long in the breakfast area. The staff was friendly and the rooms relatively clean.

When we entered the room, a rather musty smell directly poked into our noses. It smelled like stagnant water. Unfortunately the smell remained throughout the whole stay. When we booked the room we were surprised about the ratings as only the pancake machine was mentioned. Jokingly I said that this was probably the only thing to mention. And indeed, this is how it was. For breakfast, there is daily only omelette, toast or bagels and cornflakes. In the corridors there are ice cube machines from which one can help oneself, but unfortunately there was no bucket in the room.

Your staff was amazing, they were polite and friendly. The rooms are a little outdated but still very comfortable and cozy.

Just needs a little updating in the rooms, things feel very used and old.

This place has free breakfast and quick check-in, which I liked, but my king room had noisy kids slamming doors and the AC wasn't functioning properly.
